… In 2001 I began advising the sector pioneer, Retirement Villages Group Ltd. Thereafter for almost 15 years, as Sales and Marketing Director, I played a fundamental part in successfully growing the business from four to 16 villages.
Sales strategy –Fundamental part of my leadership role was researching, establishing and selling eight new village schemes. Over the years this included early market research and valuations to targeted demographic marketing and nurturing strong sales pipelines for both brand new and a portfolio of pre-owned properties.
Understanding the target demographics of market is key prerequisite to any project. Without this, essential time and budget can easily be wasted. I can assess, review and propose a strategy for any scheme, anywhere, because I have done it many times before, across the UK.
I’m incredibly passionate about the later living sector and what a life-changing difference moving in to a retirement community can have to so many people and their families. It has a vital part to play in the growing elderly demographic here in the UK and I would love to support operators who share that same belief.
